There are many benefits to writing articles and submitting them to article publishing sites. Unfortunately, many writers submit articles that are missing several elements, that when used, can drive even more traffic to your site.
Most know that articles can be an excellent source for driving traffic to a website, and are a factor in moving sites higher in the search engine results. This means that the higher in the results a site is, the bigger your portion of the traffic flow pie.
But, it's not about just filling your site (or other sites) with articles, as this will not help your rankings in the search engines at all, and will not get you the maximum benefits article writing and submission can give your site and yourself!
Besides being well written, your articles needs:
Strategically Placed Keywords and Keyword Phrases
Article should be based upon keywords and keyword phrases that pertain to your site. This may seem obvious, as an author that has a site regarding music instruments for example, will most likely write an article about that subject. But, theres another side to keywords.
When a person uses a search engine to find a particular site or subject, they enter in specific keywords or keyword phrases, and it is to your benefit to find out what the most used keyword and phrases may be that relate to your site and subject. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

You cannot just bloat an article with keywords. The article must also contain relevant information. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help readers with their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar.
